Oriental Reading Room
The Oriental
and
East Asia Department of Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin -PK share a joint
reading room (Orient- und Ostasien Lesesaal - OLS). It offers access to
approximatley 10,000 items in Asian and Western scripts. In addition to
biographical and bibliographical material, access to reference literature
is available. Current issues of a number of important journals are
also made availabe. For questions please contact the Help Desk in the
Oriental / East Asian reading room.
Hours of Service
Weekdays: 9:00 a.m. to 17:00 p.m.
Saturdays: 9:00 a.m. to 13:00 p.m.
Library Loan
It is not possible to borrow books from
the reading room. Other material can be taken out. Use the order
form to borrow material from the East Asia Department. Please refer
to the original script
